An electro-galvanized (E.G) steel sheet is a type of carbon steel sheet that has a corrosion-resistant zinc coating applied to one or both of its sides through an electro-deposition process. During this continuous electrolytic coating, the steel surface receives an exceptionally uniform thickness of zinc, which enhances its forming and joining properties.
